Dry lubricant processes involving solid particle impregnation are used to replace or complement conventional lubrication methods because they offer longer treatment life (a “permanent” process) and remain effective in extreme conditions/environments. Indeed, traditional liquid lubricants (greases, oils) can only be used in a narrow range of conditions. Outside of this environment (extreme temperatures, high loads, pressure, wear, migration, pollution, vacuum, etc.), liquid lubricants change state and lose their lubricating properties. In addition to their exceptional properties in extreme environments, our dry lubricant processes prevent and eliminate seizure and wear, reduce friction, and do not outgas in a vacuum.
