Coating
Halar
The Halar coating is produced from powder ECTFE, a copolymer of ethylene and chlorotrifluoroethylene.
FOR MORE INFORMATION
Chemical properties
The Halar is resistant to most acids, bases and solvents used in the technical field. No solvent is known to date that can attack or destroy the Halar coating at a temperature below 120 °.
Electrical properties
The Halar has a very low dielectric constant, namely 2.5, which remains stable above different temperatures and frequencies. Its dielectric strength amounts to 80KV / mm.
Mechanical properties
The Halar is a rugged polymer with good mechanical properties such as abrasion resistance, hardness, impact resistance and deformation.
