Leader in non-stick and anti-adhesive composite coatings, MNI presents the Slidcoat II composed of a tungsten carbide-based matrix in which a PTFE film fills in the cavitations of the carbide. As well known to all PTFE users, this fluoropolymer has incomparable anti-adhesive properties but it is fragile and not resistant to scratches and various impacts. MNI has managed with Slidcoat II to optimize it by combining two materials into a more efficient coating. Slidcoat II with a thickness of 0.1 millimeter, is applicable to all metals and aluminum, provides increased shock resistance and wear resistance while ensuring the anti-adhesion of PTFE.
