CERASIL® is a ceramic and Silicone compound.
This coating is sprayed at a speed of Mach 2 at a very high temperature plasma
flame (20.000°C) where it is rapidly heated and accelerated to a high velocity. The hot
material impacts on the substrate surface and rapidly cools forming a first layer which is
very dense and bonded to the substrate. As the structure of the ceramics is more porous,
this enhances a better impregnation of the Silicone and offers a perfect resistance to wear
and corrosion. This coating is particularly designed against glue problems as well as latex contact.
When touching it, CERASIL® has a velvet aspect.
