Leader in nonstick and sprayed composite coatings, MNI offers its nonstick coatings to you. In particular, Slidcoat II consists of a matrix made from tungsten carbide with a film of PTFE which fills the carbide cavities. So as all PTFE users know, this fluoropolymer has incomparable anti-adhesion properties but is fragile and offers very little resistance to scratches and various impacts. MNI has managed Slidcoat II to optimize the characteristics by combining two materials to make a better coating. This alloy has a thickness of one-tenth of a millimeter, can be applied to all metals, including aluminum, offers increased resistance and wear resistance and preserves PTFE’s non-stick capabilities. So far, MNI is used in, among other things, pre-welding and welding tools, sealing jaws and heat sealing, cutting blades, and molds.
